Remove Cellulite With Exercise

Cellulite is a cosmetic condition that effects mainly women and is often found on the hips, thighs and buttocks. It is the result of fibrous tissues underneath the skin pulling downwards, forming tiny pockets of fluid and fat that gives cellulite the orange peel or cottage cheese look.

Because cellulite is unsightly and can effective a woman’s self esteem, there has been great demand for all sorts of anti-cellulite treatments in recent years. One of the more common ways to reduce cellulite is anti-cellulite cream which needs to be applied to the problem areas at least twice per day. The issue with these creams is that they are expensive which can place them outside the budget of many women.

When designing an anti-cellulite exercise program you will need to include both fat burning and strength training exercises. When selecting the cardio exercises you should choose those that both raise your heat rate and also strength the muscles in the cellulite areas. For example, the stepper machine will work the muscles of your thighs and buttocks while giving you a good cardio workout.

Likewise, your strength training exercises should focus on those areas that have the cellulite. While the cardio exercises can help tone the muscle, you really need the strength exercises to significantly boost your lean muscle mass. Squats and lunges are the most common exercises for the legs and butt.

In conclusion, an anti-cellulite exercise program can be a terrific way to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Make sure you combine cardio and strength training, and you should start to see results in a short period of time.
